Community Guidelines

Keep the community safe, respectful, and real.

These guidelines apply to all users of Insta News Telugu — chat, profile content, and any content you share within the app. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or a permanent ban. Effective date: 1 July 2026.

1. Be respectful

Treat other users with dignity. Disagreement is fine; harassment is not.
Do not bully, threaten, or send abusive messages.
Do not share content designed to demean or shame individuals based on their religion, caste, gender, ethnicity, disability, or sexual orientation.

2. No spam or manipulation

Do not flood conversations or news feeds with repetitive, irrelevant, or promotional messages.
Do not create multiple accounts to evade bans or manipulate engagement metrics.
Do not impersonate journalists, public officials, media organisations, or other users.

3. No misinformation

Do not deliberately spread false news or fabricated content intended to mislead.
Do not alter or misrepresent screenshots, quotes, or official statements.

4. No harmful or illegal content

Do not share content that is illegal under Indian law or the laws of the country where you reside.
Do not share content that incites violence, promotes terrorism, or endangers individuals.
Do not share sexually explicit content of any kind.
Do not share content that exploits, endangers, or sexualises minors — see our Child Safety Policy.

5. Protect privacy

Do not share another person's personal information without their consent.
Do not record or share private conversations without all parties' knowledge.

6. Reporting and enforcement

Use the in-app report button to flag violations.
Moderation decisions may be contested by emailing [email protected].
Serious violations (CSAM, incitement to violence) are reported to authorities where legally required.
